Rock Report review
Serafino Perugino, the boss of Frontiers Records, has coupled a lot of artists in the past and in the case of Find Me, he's done it again. The protagonists this time around are drummer, keyboarder and producer Daniel Flores and vocalist Robbie LaBlanc (of Blanc Faces fame). A great album starts with great songs and twelve of them were provided by the likes of Alessandro Del Vecchio, James & Tom Martin, Mikey Wilson, Isabell Øversveen (aka Issa), Thomas Vikström, Sören Kronqvist, Daniel Palmqvist & Erik Mårtensson. A strong team, if you ask me, and absolutely nothing is wrong with the delivered quality of the tunes. But that's not all, of course! Besides the attractive cover artwork, logo and concept by Nello Dell'Omo, we can all enjoy the excellent musicianship, with a key role for singer extraordinaire Robbie LaBlanc. What a great AOR singer he is! Just listen to smashing songs like "Another World", "One Soul" (my personal favourite), "Unbreakable" and "Wings Of Love" and you will almost surely agree with me: this is quality written with a capital Q. Together with Arc Angel's comeback album and Fergie Frederiksen's brand-new album, this is another must have and probably the start of something big for both Flores and LaBlanc.
