Rock Report review
According to what can be read on our forum, it's generally agreed that 2012 started in a slow way, when talking about good quality melodic rock releases. Indeed, it took some time before a bunch of excellent new melodic rock albums reached us, but with "Address The Nation", the third studio album of H.e.a.t, we got ourselves an absolute winner. The album starts in a great way with "Breaking The Silence" and what follows, is stuff to lick your fingers. The high quality level is kept until the end, with further highlights like the first single "Living On The Run", the ballad "The One And Only", the (classic) Europe-like "Better Of Alone" (my personal favourite of the whole album) and the uplifting "Need Her". One thing is for sure: recruiting Erik Grönwall, the winner of the Swedish edition of Idol in 2009, wasn"t a mistake, on the contrary! If you thought that classic melodic rock albums couldn"t be produced in 2012 anymore, H.e.a.t proves the contrary. And speaking of production, Grammy award winning Tobias Lindell (Europe, Hardcore Superstar) did an excellent job here! Album of the year (so far)!
